NetplayTV Broadcasting Ltd is looking for a DevOps engineer who would play a key role in company’s transformation towards digital mastery. Successful candidate would assist the on-site Agile team of developers by providing robust and well documented solutions to the company’s platform and applications. They should be able to identify opportunities for automation and build required solutions. They will lead efforts to diagnose and completely resolve complex systems configuration, production and deployment problems. They will work closely with the dev team on evolving current platform into SOA/Micro-services architecture.

• Platform configuration with Cobbler/Puppet,
• Evolution of existing Jenkins CI/CD platform unto Atlassian stack (Bamboo, Jira, Stash…),
• Managing and evolving monitoring platforms - Zabbix / Elkstack,
• Identification and improvement of security measures on existing infrastructure and web services,
• Supporting development environments for the dev team,


Required Technical Capabilities and Experience
• Analytical and problem solving skills, particularly as it relates to issue diagnosis and resolution,
• Strong understanding of Linux systems (ideally CentOS or similar distro),
• Proficient in bash scripting,
• Experience installing, configuring and debugging LAMP,
• Experience with Configuration Management tools such as Cobbler and Puppet,
• Good understanding of network and web services security,
• Networking and Firewall configuration,
• Understanding of Service-Oriented-Architecture and Micro-services,

Beneficial Technical Capabilities and Experience
• Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo,
• Experience with Zabbix and Elkstack,
• Exposure to Docker, Node.JS, RabbitMQ,
• Cloud experience (ideally AWS),
• Programming skills: PHP, JavaScript, C#,
• Load / Stress testing,
• Disaster Recovery,
• Release management,
• API and RESTful interfaces,

Operations Manager – IT
NetPlay TV the “Home of Live Gaming” is looking for a passionate Operations Manager to join the Operations department in the technology division of the business. We are an Agile company who recognise the importance of enabling the business using technology. We have initiated a strategy of Digital Transformation and require an Operations Manager / Digital Master to join a team of experts in their field to take the business the next level. Standardisation through the adoption and evolution of operational processes is key to the success of this strategy. We require someone who has already operated in well structured environment and recognises the benefits this brings to an operational team.

Department: Operations

Key Areas of Responsibility:
• Work side by side with Operations Manager – TV
• Manage B2C production platforms
• Manage corporate IT platform
• Manage QA department
• Champion the implementation and adoption of operational processes
• Support TV Operations
• Supplier Management
• Budget Management
• Change Management
• Fault Management

Qualifications / Experience:
• Experience with Operational methodologies (e.g. ITIL)
• Knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodology
• Operational knowledge of the Atlassian suite of tools including Confluence, Jira, BitBucket, FishEye, Bamboo and Zephyr
• Good knowledge of Cloud Services
• Knowledge and experience of networking including Cisco and Cisco Merkai
• Previously managed virtualised platforms including VMware
• 5+ years of relevant experience
